If you receive a traffic ticket and you want to attend traffic school, your first step is to appear in court at the date and time listed on your citation. Ask for traffic school instead of entering a plea. Complete the traffic school before the deadline you are given and your ticket will be dismissed.
Not all traffic charges are eligible for traffic school. For example, if you get a DUI, you may not be referred to traffic school. Typical moving violations which are referred to traffic school are speeding, following too closely, failure to yield right of way, etc. More serious traffic charges may be referred to traffic school at the discretion of the prosecutor.
Once you have completed the course, we will notify the court and/or prosecutor and your ticket will be dismissed.
